Part 3: Tell Me a Story: Leveraging Narrative Retell
Oral narrative skills play a critical role in comprehension and later literacy success. In this webinar, presented by Dr. Allison Slone, Curriculum Designer for IMSE and Ed.D., CCC-SLP, Reading Science, educators will explore how storytelling and narrative retelling support students’ ability to sequence events, use descriptive and academic language, and express ideas clearly. Educators will explore evidence-aligned strategies for using storytelling and retelling as tools to deepen their understanding, expand oral language, and strengthen students’ ability to communicate their learning.
